Microsoft Zune Sync-N-Charge USB 2.0 Cable Top Quality

I kept the AC/USB wall unit from an old iPod and have been using it to charge up my 80gb Zune when needed. The Zune sync cable got pinched on the AC side overnight and stopped working, so I decided to buy this replacement. Amazon was having a HUGE sale (05/2009), and I got it for $0.50 with $3.00 shipping - not bad, considering the official unit was selling for $10 on sale (and more than $20 normally!).

Pros:
-Well-made. The "inspire" cable isn't as "soft" as the Zune cable, and the side that clips into the Zune holds nicely.
-Functional. Haven't had a problem charging the Zune (on the pc or with the wall unit) or syncing it with my files.

Cons:
-Length. It's about 21 inches shorter than the Zune cable. It's still plenty long (39 inches), considering the player will likely be sitting on your desk or bed while charging.
-Covers. The Zune package came with pink covers for the ends of the cable. The inspire cable doesn't. The Zune covers do fit on it though (the USB one being a millimeter short).
-Packaging. The cable looks new and has that "new plastic" smell, but there were one or two hairline scratches and tiny fingerprint marks on the ends when I took it out. Strange...

Overall it was a great deal. Why pay more when these work fine? Get more detail about Microsoft Zune Sync-N-Charge USB 2.0 Cable.
