I ordered one of these new via another website. The Ipod dock and radio were fine, but the CD player wouldn't work. Also the display sometimes lags when you're scrolling through the various input source options. I called Philips and had a very pleasant customer service experience, but when I received the replacement today, there were major problems. Not only was the CD player defective in the exact same way, but the replacement was so poorly packed by the company that the unit had irreparable damage to the antenna input. I have been informed that my only options are replacement with an identical model or refund of purchase price. I got rid of a bunch of other stereo stuff, intending this to be a space-saving replacement, but the deal I got on it initially means that the refund won't actually cover the cost of getting something else, meaning I've lost everything.
The person in the replacements department told me they've had a lot of complaints about packaging of replacements. My advice is to avoid this bran altogether.Get more detail about Philips Executive 30-Watt Micro Speaker System with iPod Dock (Black/Silver).
