I bought this item for my wife for her birthday. She wanted one that could be used in the bedroom and this fit the bill. The sound that is produced by this system is simply awesome. It sound every bit as good as a Bose wave radio. There is one major downside to it though. The clock is backlit by a blue light that, even on the low setting, is bright enough to illuminate the entire room. We just turn it to face away from the bed and then it can be used as a night light. My wife does have a problem learning how to adjust the alarms as well but that is just owner/operator error.
