For a fraction of the price that Apple charges you can have a replacement dock. We all know they are made like crap and will break without much prompting but you can not beat this price. I looked online and at the Apple store and it was more than twice (almost three times) the price once you factor in the shipping.
It seems like this replacement has lasted as long as the original.
