I bought a second set, rather than just another transmitter. I figured the $8 price difference was worth it in case the older receiver failed...or I needed an extra battery. Turns out, the new transmitter (supposed to be the same frequency) did not work at all on the old receiver...so I'm glad I bought both and I have both receivers pointed at my DSS receiver in the garage. There must not be a lot of quality control on the frequency of these...but a second set for $33 makes more sense than just another transmitter for $25...Get more detail about NGHP LRRX-2 AAA-TX (Extra RF Transmitter For 433 MHz).
