I purchased this product after purchasing one of the new 32GB iPod Touch's. After giving them to my son for his b-day, we noticed the ipod did not fit correctly. The case smashed up against the volume controls on the side and the ipod does not sit properly in the case so we couldn't get it to close at all. I'm not sure if would fit the older ipods, so I can't comment on that but I do know it does not fit the new ones...
