Although my original Nomad battery had been dead for a couple years, I was reluctant to buy the replacement based on the reviews that it was not quite the right fit. I finally bought a pair, figuring that for $10 apiece, there wasn't much to lose. I was very pleased to find that the battery was indeed a perfect fit for my 30GB Nomad. It has basically given my Nomad new life. Even though one of my coworkers refers to it as my "Fred Flinstone MP3 player" (yes, it's a bit on the bulky side), it once again does what a MP3 player is supposed to do--play music on the go. I have about 120 CDs on this thing and that still only fills about 1/3 of its capacity.
