I have had my IPOD for almost two years now. I received mine used which it was close to a year old before it was given to me. When it was given to me, the IPOD was all scratched up (really badly scratched up) and even some how has been dented. Knowing the person who it belonged to, it being dented somehow doesn't surprise me but at the same time, what could you be doing to dent an IPOD? Anyway...

I have had my IPOD for almost two years now. I use it every day and it goes with me everywhere. I take public transportation to get to school. This case has been a life saver. I've dropped my IPOD on the ground (hard mind you) multiple times having had forgotten it was on my lap and not in a pocket as I was getting off of the train and it would drag on the ground for a while before I noticed and my IPOD probably wouldn't be working if it wasn't for the extra protection of the case. I'm not suggesting you slam your IPOD in the car door but this case does protect it quite a bit.

Pros: It has a sewen in screen protector so you don't have to buy one extra.
Material is durable, mine is finally beginning to show signs of wear after two years because I'm a bit rough with it.
Keeps your IPOD scratch free

Cons: The color and design choice. Brown is not my favorite color and even though I don't mind it, I would prefer more color choices. Even towards the end of the 3rd generation line they didn't have enough color choices. And as a girl, having more then just brown would be nice.

I ordered one of these new via another website. The Ipod dock and radio were fine, but the CD player wouldn't work. Also the display sometimes lags when you're scrolling through the various input source options. I called Philips and had a very pleasant customer service experience, but when I received the replacement today, there were major problems. Not only was the CD player defective in the exact same way, but the replacement was so poorly packed by the company that the unit had irreparable damage to the antenna input. I have been informed that my only options are replacement with an identical model or refund of purchase price. I got rid of a bunch of other stereo stuff, intending this to be a space-saving replacement, but the deal I got on it initially means that the refund won't actually cover the cost of getting something else, meaning I've lost everything.

This item works great with my daughters older ipod video but does not work correctly with my newer 160 gig classic. With the classic, it plays only the music. The vocals do not come through. The problem is not with my ipod, as I have taken it to the apple store and had it checked out. My ipod plays fine in docking stations and through my headphones it just does not want to work with this FM Transmitter. The FM Transmitter does work with my daughters ipod so the problem must be a compatability issue. The wierd thing is I have had one of these Monster FM Transmitters before and it worked just fine with my ipod. However this new one does not. How wierd is that?
