I saw a review for the Lloyd microphone online and since I was in need of something to record interviews I decided to give it a try (the price was right). I've been very pleased. The pick-up isn't as good as the dedicated digital audio recorder that I was borrowing from my local library, but it is pretty close. I've found that doing some quick and easy amplification of the signal using Audacity (freeware) is enough to bring the results up to par with the dedicated recorder.
