Buy RCA M4008 Opal 8GB Flash MP3 / MP4 (Video) Player with 1.5 inch Full Color OLED Display, Voice Recording and Built-in Microphone (Color: BLACK)

I just received the Mp3 player yesterday and I have spent most of today working with it, loading files onto it, updating firmware etc... Everything seems to be working the way it is supposed to but I do have a a few complaints:

1. The player DOES NOT allow you to sort files by folder. All of the MP3 files go into the player's "Music" folder with no sub-directories, regardless of how you have organized and grouped them into windows folders. Granted the player allows you to sort media by Artist, Album, Title, Year, and Genre, but it would have been nice to be able to be able to sort them by user-defined folders rather than having to edit the MP3 tags just to group them differently.

2. If you are in the middle of a Mp3 file and you turn the player off, when you turn it back on again it will restart the file rather than pick up where you left off. This is alright for music but a pain for Mp3 audiobooks.

3. My old Tsonic Mp3 player had a speed function allowing you to increase the playback speed up to 1.3x, this player doesn't have that function.

Since I bought this player primarily for listening to MP3 audiobooks I'm a bit annoyed at these issues, but if you're planning on using it mostly for music they probably won't pose a problem. I will change my review if they fix these problems with future firmware updates.Get more detail about RCA M4008 Opal 8GB Flash MP3 / MP4 (Video) Player with 1.5 inch Full Color OLED Display, Voice Recording and Built-in Microphone (Color: BLACK).
