Order Sony ICF-C1IPMK2 Speaker System and Clock Radio with iPod Dock (Black)

I cannot recommend this product to anyone who's thinking of putting it in their bedroom. While the display has 3 settings, it does not turn off, and the lowest setting of the blue display glows quite bright at night. Its a very poor design. Additionally, the volume control is a random 17 positions that is just not granular enough. When it was next to my bed 4 was too soft - 5 was too loud. When I moved it, I had the same problem between 5 and 6. Where's an infinite rheostat when you need one? Or a digital volume control from 1-100?
