I researched FM Transmitters for the ITouch/IPod for a couple of weeks. I found that many are poorly made, and some even allow your ITouch to "fly across the vehicle"!!! This won't happen with the SATECHI. I have been thrilled with my product, and so has my husband. It holds the ITouch and IPhone securely. Tomorrow, we will try it with my son's IPod! LOVE IT, and digital readout is super....
